In 2009, Toriko was nominated for the 2nd Manga Taisho Award. The manga has been published in English by VIZ Media under the Shonen Jump imprint since June 1, 2010; in Brazilian Portuguese by Panini Comics/Planet Manga since April 2013; and in Spanish by Planeta Cómic since November 2012.
